• How is this particular rite or custom supposed to help the deceased? 

• How is it supposed to help the survivors?

• If you need help, feel free to talk with family members about their experiences.

Write an 8 - 10 sentence paragraph comparing and contrasting ancient Egyptian funeral rights with those of contemporary or modern groups.

Be sure to include some of your own experiences or knowlege as well using the assignment instructions as a guide.
