Comparatives
We use comparative adjectives to compare two people or things to say if one has more of a quality than the other.
Comparative adjectives are usually followed by than.
With short adjectives we add -er. smaller, taller, bigger, shorter...
With long adjectives we add before the adjective more. More beautiful, more expensive, more difficult.

Superlatives
We use superlative adjectives to say that in a particular group, something has the most of a quality.
Before the superlative adjectives we always add the.
With short adjectives we add -est. tallest, smallest, biggest...
With long adjectives we add before the adjective most. the most expensive, the most dificult, the most intelligent.

We use as + adjective/adverb + as to say that two things are the same: Hannah is as tall as Jess.
We use not as + adjective/adverb + as to say that one thing is less than another: My brother isn´t as fit as me.
