What is trigonometry?
Trigonometry is one of the important branches in the history of mathematics that deals with the study of the relationship between the sides and angles of a right-angled triangle. This concept is given by the Greek mathematician Hipparchus. Trigonometry is an important part of math history. It deals with the study of the relationship between the sides and angles of a right-angled triangle. This idea was first given by the Greek mathematician Hipparchus.

Trigonometry Terms
The 3 main terms in trigonometry are, Sine, Cosine, and Tangent.
4
Trigonometry Mnemonic
There is a simple mnemonic to help you remember the trigonometry functions and their formulas. It is SOHCAHTOA
SOH= To calculate Sine, the formula is O for Opposite divided by H for the hypotenuse.
CAH= To calculate the Cosine, the formula is A for Adjacent divided by H for the hypotenuse.
TOA= To calculate Tangent, the formula is O for opposite divided by A for Adjacent.
