Vowel Teams
In many words, you see two vowels together.
Examples:

We call these "vowel" teams or "vv" teams.

These vowel teams have a long E sound.

VV Team Rule
The first vowel is long (meaning it says its name).
The second vowel is silent (meaning you don't hear it).
