การใช้ "There is"

ความหมายและการใช้

• "There is" ใช้เพื่อบอกว่ามีบางสิ่งบางอย่างอยู่ในที่หนึ่งที่เฉพาะเจาะจง

โครงสร้างประโยค

• There is + คำนามนับได้เอกพจน์

  • เช่น There is a cat on the roof. (มีแมวตัวหนึ่งอยู่บนหลังคา)

• There is + คำนามนับไม่ได้

  • เช่น There is some water in the glass.

  • (มีน้ำอยู่ในแก้ว)

ตัวอย่างประโยค

• There is a book on the table.

• (มีหนังสือหนึ่งเล่มอยู่บนโต๊ะ)

• There is milk in the fridge.

• (มีนมอยู่ในตู้เย็น)

• There is a dog in the garden.

• (มีสุนัขตัวหนึ่งอยู่ในสวน)

การใช้อื่นๆ

• สามารถใช้ "there is" ในการตั้งคำถามได้:

  • เช่น Is there a cat on the roof? (มีแมวอยู่บนหลังคาไหม?)

• สามารถใช้ "there is" ในการปฏิเสธได้:

  • เช่น There isn't any water in the glass.

  • (ไม่มีน้ำในแก้วเลย)

การเขียนประโยคโดยใช้ "There is" เพื่อบรรยายสิ่งที่อยู่ในห้องเรียน:

• There is a ... in the classroom.

การเขียนประโยคโดยใช้ "There is" เพื่อบรรยายสิ่งที่อยู่ในห้องเรียน:

• There is some ... in the classroom.
