( hope,wish and congratulation )

Tujuan Pembelajaran

•Siswa akan mampu mengidentifikasi situasi-situasi di mana penggunaan
"hope," "wish," dan "congratulations" adalah tepat dan sesuai.

•Siswa akan memahami perbedaan antara "hope" yang mengacu pada harapan
yang realistis di masa depan, dan "wish" yang mengacu pada keinginan yang
mungkin tidak dapat terpenuhi.

•

• Siswa akan dapat mengungkapkan harapan dan keinginan pribadi dalam
berbagai situasi, seperti akademik, sosial, dan pribadi, menggunakan
ungkapan "hope" dan "wish.

* Siswa akan mampu memberikan ucapan selamat
yang sesuai dan sopan dalam berbagai situasi, seperti pencapaian akademik, karir,pernikahan dan lainnya,dengan menggunakan ungkapan
"congratulations."

• Academic Hope: Situasi: Seorang siswa yang sedang berbicara kepada temannya

1.Hope (Harapan):
"Hope" adalah ungkapan untuk
menyatakan harapan atau keinginan
terhadap suatu situasi di masa depan.
Hope berfungsi untuk menunjukkan
suatu harapan yang mungkin terjadi
atau realistis.

Contoh penggunaan hope :
A : I hope I get a good score ( saya berharap saya mendapat skor yg bagus

B : I hope so ( saya harap demikian)

A : I hope you win the contest. ( saya berharap

anda menang di lomba itu )

2. Wish (Harapan/Suatu yang Diinginkan):
Definition: "Wish" digunakan untuk

menyatakan harapan atau keinginan yang
mungkin tidak realistis atau tidak mungkin terjadi.

Situasi: Seseorang berbicara tentang keadaan
yang mereka harapkan berbeda.
Dialog:
Person A: "I wish it would stop raining so we
could have a picnic."
Person B: "Let's hope for better weather next weekend."

• Hypothetical Wish: Situasi: Seseorang

berbicara tentang apa yang mereka inginkan
jika mereka memiliki kekuatan sihir.

• Dialog:

Person A: "I wish I could fly like a bird."
Person B: "That would be amazing! Imagine
the places you could explore."

• 3. Congratulations (Ucapan Selamat):
• Definition: "Congratulations" adalah

ungkapan yang digunakan untuk memberikan
pujian atau ucapan selamat kepada seseorang
atas pencapaian atau keberhasilan mereka.

contohnya :
- Congratulations ( selamat )
- Congratulation on your graduation ( selamat atas kelulusan anda)

- Happy birthday ( selamat ulang tahun )
