This is a blueprint for a computer network. It is the outline of how the devices will be connected, how data is transmitted and rules governing communication within the network.

This is the physical or logical arrangement of a networking. Shows how network is arranged and how devices connect to each other. Some network topology diagrams can be very detailed, to show every aspect of the network, including hardware devices and connection methods.
