Government - A system of social control under which the right to make laws and enforce them is held by a particular group in society.

The people or citizens are the government. and citizens make all the decisions and run the government.

Direct Democracy
The people or citizens elect people to run the government or make and enforce
laws on their behalf.

A form of government in which the people elect, or choose, their leaders.

A system of government in which the country is ruled by a king or queen whose power is limited by a constitution
Constitutional Monarchy
A system of government in which the government must agree or follow a constitution (law) that states what that government can or cannot do.
The government is not ALL POWERFUL.
Limited Government

By definition, a republic is a representative form of government ruled according to a charter or constitution, while a democracy is a government ruled according to the will of the majority.

Authoritarian Government
A form of government that permits no individual freedom and seeks to force all aspects of personal life to the state's authority.
Totalitarian
A form of government which is characterized by a leader, or a group of leaders, who hold governmental powers with few to no limitations
Dictatorship
A political system in which one ruler or leader has complete power and authority over a country.
