  • Divisibility: a number divides the given number without any remainder, and the answer is a whole number.

  • Example: 12 can be divided by 3 to get 4. So we can say 12 is divisible by 3.

​Tests of Divisibility

  • There are several methods for testing the divisibility of a number without actually dividing! Here are a few:
