Freedom of speech, religion, press, assembly, and petition – People have the right to express their opinions, practice any religion, and gather peacefully.
Right to bear arms – Citizens have the right to own firearms.
No quartering of soldiers – The government cannot force citizens to house soldiers during peacetime.
Protection from unreasonable searches and seizures – People are protected from searches and taking of property without a warrant or just cause.
Rights in criminal cases – People cannot be forced to testify against themselves and are protected from double jeopardy (being tried twice for the same crime).
