Title

• Capitalize the first letter of each word

• Should be intriguing and relevant to your story

• Can be finalized after writing the narrative

Introduction

• At least 5 sentences long

• Set the scene and introduce yourself (the main character)

• Provide background information

• Begin to introduce symbols that represent key aspects of your experience

Moment of Innocence (Rising Action)

• At least 5 sentences long

• Describe a time when you were unaware of life's complexities

• Focus on:

  • What was happening?

  • How did you feel?

• Use vivid details to paint a clear picture

Catalyst for Change (Climax)

• Describe the event or realization that triggered change
