Information Questions are useful when we seek for specific information, about various aspects. We use them to gather pieces of details related to the content.

We must use WH Words. These words are called this way because they all include the letters W and H (not necessary in that order).



- Some examples: who, which, what, when, how, where, why...

WH Words are KEY WORDS use in Information Questions that demand specific data from the whole information. Below we'll find only some examples.

*Notice: the verb Be is used in the examples as the matter of the lesson. But you are also able to use WH Words with modal verbs such as can, should, could... or with other tenses such as do/does, did, will, have... E.g. What can you do?, Where does she live?, When did your plane take off?, Which hospital should I go?
