There are different ways to express hobbies or pastimes in english

ATENCION!

All verbs related to hobbies (Like, love, enjoy, cant stand) are followed by a gerund (ing): Cycling, reading. For example: I enjoy dancing.

They can also be followeb by a noun (tennis, soccer).
For example: I love basketball.

The verb like can also be followed by an infinitive.
For example: I like to read.
