Ireland has many ancient buildings. Some of

them were built thousands of years ago. These buildings

are called megaliths. They were built in

the stone age. Megaliths were built for

different things. Some of them were built as

graves. Others were built for religious

ceremonies. Some megaliths were built as a place

to watch the stars.

Newgrange. Newgrange is a great grave,

built around 3200 BC.

It is older than Stonehenge and the Egyptian pyramids.

Newgrange is part of the Bru-na-

graves of Noth and Daut. All these places are a part

UNESCO World Heritage.
