In this module you will learn about different resources that can assist you when brining gamification to your classroom.

Just a reminder....
These are tools, they are not the means to better teaching but a tool to help us get there. Gamification is not simply playing games but brining gamining elements to the classroom experience. Many of these resources are engaging, fun, and bring learning to life, but they must be thoughtfully used and integrated into the classroom. When games become the center of the learning then gamification has become game based learning.

Open Ended
Based on what you have learned so far what would you like to see in an online gamification resource? Have you used gamification resources in the past? If so what was that experience like?

Classroom Management
Class Dojo
Class Dojo is a wonderful tool that assists with classroom management. Students will each have their own avatar who can earn points as an individual or in a group. Teachers award points based on things like being on task, helping others, active listening, and teamwork. Avatars can level up based on points and there is a leaderboard option. Points can also be awarded to the whole class. This tool is geared towards elementary classrooms.
