Today we will be doing breakout rooms to research different forms of energy.
Breakout Room 1 - Fossil Fuels
Breakout Room 2 - Nuclear Energy
Breakout Room 3 - Renewable Energy
Breakout Room 4 - Biomass
Each breakout room will be responsible for creating a short PowerPoint or Google Slides presentation, answering questions, and explaining important things about each source of energy. You may use Edio and the internet to help you answer your questions.
I will set the Quizizz to student-paced so that each group can go to their specific slide in order to have an idea of what should be included in the PowerPoint or Google Slide that you create!
One student from each room will share their screen to create the presentation. I will need 4 volunteers to be captains of your room to create the presentation.
We will set some time aside at the end of class for presentations. I will give you roughly 25 minutes to create your presentations.
