• Today we are continuing with revising and editing

• We are focusing on revising for style making sure you included:

  • examples of imagery

  • sentence variety

  • dialogue

• We are focusing on editing for conventions. Did you:

  • write in complete sentences?

  • use correct capitalization, punctuation, spelling, and verb tenses?

• ​Read your project aloud again focusing on style

• As you read, go through the self check checklist (page 3 in edio)

• After you finish reading, go back and revise any sections that you could not mark yes for

• Read your project aloud one more time

• As you are reading go through the self check checklist (page 5 in edio)

• After you finish reading, go back and make any corrections for conventions

Editing for Conventions

• Once you have completed the revision and editing stages of the writing process, you will submit your project

• On page 6 of the edio lesson, you will upload your final draft before submitting today!

• Remember, You CANNOT submit the lesson blank today!!!
