attitude that is always the right promise.

Discipline comes from the Latin Discere which means to learn. The discipline

originated from English, namely "disciple" which means follower or student.

B.Benefits of Discipline

Discipline may be difficult to do but actually it has some benefits. The benefits

of being discipline as students are as follows:

1.Growing sensitivity

If you are discipline, you will be sensitive and believe to others. This attitude can

make it easier for you to express their feelings to others, including to your

parents. So you will easily dive into other people's feelings too.

2.Growing Concern

Discipline will make you have integrity, you will be able to take responsibility,

can solve problems well, quickly and easily.

3.Teach Regularity

By doing discipline, you will be able to have an organized lifestyle and can

manage your time well.

4.Growing Confidence

This attitude develops when you are given the trust to do a job you can do on

your own. When the teacher gives you a homework, you will go to school

confidently when you have finished it. However, if you haven’t completed it,

you will have a lack of confidence during the lesson.

5.Growing Independence

With independent learning, students can be relied upon in order to meet their

own needs. They can also explore the environment well. Discipline is the right

guidance for them to be able or able to make wise choices.

Read the following article.

The Three Keys to Discipline in Japan

Here are the three keys to discipline in Japan.

Organization

Organization allows us to save time and become more effective. An organized house

reflects harmony. A school where every teacher, student, and staff have clear

functions improves the effectiveness of daily work.

Thus, organizing an environment allows you to optimize tasks and respond quickly

to challenges.

We can’t ignore the fact that Japanese leaders are aware of almost every detail of

day-to-day tasks. To them, it’s important for each individual to fully commit to their

work.

Cleaning

In Japanese culture, cleaning is more than removing dirt from spaces. It’s also a way

of bringing balance to our lives. Anything dirty and messy affects well-being and

the mind itself. Therefore, it’s necessary to take some steps to bring harmony to our

spaces.

Punctuality

Another key to discipline is punctuality. This term doesn’t just imply that you should

always be on time. Punctuality means to be firm with our purpose, to set a goal and

fulfill it. It implies setting a series of daily goals and meeting them quickly and

efficiently.

After you have read the article, discuss in a group of 3 or 4, is it possible for

Indonesia to be a discipline country like Japan?
