Student A will start by sharing a personal story or experience. They should choose a story that is meaningful to them and that they feel comfortable sharing.

Student B will listen attentively to their partner's story. They should not interrupt or offer advice during the storytelling.

Use nonverbal cues such as nodding, smile, and lean in to show that you are listening actively. Ask some clarifying/follow-up questions to better understand the story.

If you failed to meet a deadline...
If you provided incorrect information that leads to problems...
If you failed to communicate effectively, leading to misunderstandings or missed opportunities...
If you said something offensive or hurtful...
If you failed to keep a promise...
If you had a conflict with a team member...

Imagine a work-related situation.
How would you apologize?
How would you react to the apology?
