Direct: "No, I'm not coming to your party this evening"
More polite: "I'm not sure I'll be able to make it to your party this evening

Student A will start by sharing a personal story or experience. They should choose a story that is meaningful to them and that they feel comfortable sharing.

Student B will listen attentively to their partner's story. They should not interrupt or offer advice during the storytelling.

Use nonverbal cues such as nodding, smile, and lean in to show that you are listening actively. Ask some clarifying/follow-up questions to better understand the story.

Let me share

You will take part in a brainstorming meeting. 

Your company has been offered two contracts: one with Android and one with iOS.  

Two teams are having meetings to prove that one contract is better than the other. 

If you failed to meet a deadline...
