• Misunderstand (неправильно понять): I misunderstood the instructions.

• Misplace (положить не туда): I misplaced my keys again.

• Mislead (ввести в заблуждение): The advertisement misled the customers.

• Mistake (ошибаться): She mistook him for someone else.

Mis- используется, когда нужно передать идею ошибки, неправильное расположение или направление.

Приставка "mis"-

• Disappear (исчезать): The magician made the coin disappear.

• Disagree (не соглашаться): I disagree with your opinion.

• Dishonest (нечестный): It’s dishonest to lie to your friends.

• Dislike (не любить): I dislike loud music.

Dis- выражает

противоположное действие, отрицание или отсутствие чего-то.
