Area and Perimeter Review

Area is the amount of space INSIDE of a shape.

The area measurement will ALWAYS be in square units. For example - in²
An example of area is the amount of carpet needed for a room.

The perimeter is found by adding up all the sides. For example - the measurement around the outside of a flower garden.
