How do you feel about math in general? in 2 words

Here's an example of algebra that we've learned about in the past
Joshua has 10 apples in his fridge he gains 2 apple every day for healthy eating.
3
All of these are correct to explain it you can do this
10+2d
Because he has 10 apples and gains 2 every day.
Here what you should remember
starting number of apples
how much he gains
the days
To solve it here's what you do
Multiply the 2 by any number. And
anything above 10 AND a multiple of 2 can be the answer to this expression.
10+2(20)=50
50 just one of the many numbers you
can put in ANY expression.
For Example
10+2d

5
Let's do a example with subtraction since that was addition
Jessica gets 10 dollars for every A and -2 for every grade below B
6
Jessica gets 10 dollars for every A and -2 for every grade below B
10A-2B
For example lets plug in 5 for A's and 3 for below B
There are multiple steps to doing this
Step 1
Plug in your Variables there are infinite possibilities
but lets go by the example
10(5)- 2(3)
Step 2
Do the math and multiply the variables by the numbers
10x5=50
2x3=6
Put it into an equation
50-6
Step 3
Step 4
Solve it
50-6=44
7
Now we'll teach you how to write an expression
write the equation while we go through it
8
There are 4 steps to writing expressions
Johnathan has 10 gallons worth of juice in his fridge. He and his family drinks 2 every day collectively.
Since he started with 10 gallons we will start the expression with 10 because that's the number of gallons he has
Now since the gallons are being drunk that means they're being taken away from which means we use subtraction
Because the gallons drank is 2 we take away 2 but there needs to be a letter to represent the gallons drank which is why we add the variable D
Step 1
Step 2
Step 3
Step 4
9
So the answer would be 10-2d
(doesn't really matter what letter you use since they're all correct but d is the best to represent drank
10
Now it's time to show what you know
