Chapter 1
Gustavo and his little brother Adriano explore an old gold mine in Ouro Preto, Brazil, during a family tour. While Adriano is intrigued by the rail tracks, Gustavo notices a glowing compass symbol on the wall, signaling a new mission for the Secret Explorers, a group of young experts who solve global mysteries. Gustavo steps through a portal to the Exploration Station, where he joins fellow Explorers, each specializing in different fields. The map reveals the mission location—a medieval castle in Central Europe with mysterious green lights. Gustavo and Kiki, the Engineering Explorer, are selected for the mission. They board the Beagle, which transforms into a horse-drawn cart, and travel back 500 years to the Medieval Era.

Chapter 2
Arriving at the castle, Gustavo and Kiki find themselves dressed as medieval squires. Their cart, the Beagle, cleverly hides advanced technology. As they near the castle, they notice tension among the people: Prince Alfred, the emperor's brother, might take over the castle from Count Maximilian. A frightened soldier bursts into the courtyard, claiming he saw a ghost in the crypt. Intrigued, Gustavo and Kiki decide to investigate. In the crypt, they discover glowing green footprints, linking the phenomenon to their mission.

Chapter 3
Leaving the crypt, the Explorers encounter workers fearful of ghosts, reflecting medieval superstitions. They are assigned to Sir Leonard, a knight loyal to Prince Alfred, and tasked with caring for his horse, Tiber. Exploring the castle grounds, they notice preparations for a tournament and barrels of "black powder" near the armory. While helping with supplies for a feast, Gustavo and Kiki remain alert for clues about the mysterious green footprints and the castle's growing unrest.

Chapter 4
Gustavo and Kiki investigate the mysterious ghost of the Horned Knight, discovering a tomb with a helmet adorned with horns that has never been disturbed, contradicting the Count's claims. As they explore the Prince's tower, they encounter a glowing, green-armored figure—the Horned Knight—who vanishes after scaring the Prince. Gustavo begins to suspect that the Count might be behind the ghostly appearances, aiming to frighten the Prince and prevent him from taking control of the castle.

Chapter 5
Gustavo and Kiki prepare for the tournament day, taking care of Tiber the horse while learning about jousting and the competition. During the tournament, Tiber unexpectedly bucks Sir Leonard off his horse, causing a scene and fueling rumors about the ghost of the Horned Knight. Later, Gustavo and Kiki discover lady's gloves hidden under Tiber’s saddle, revealing that the ghostly disturbance was caused by the gloves startling the horse, not a supernatural force, leading them to suspect Count Maximilian's involvement in trying to stop Prince Alfred from taking the castle.

Chapter 6
Gustavo and Kiki discover a secret passage behind a carved alcove and follow it under the castle, where they find evidence linking the glowing footprints and the Horned Knight to Count Maximilian. They uncover glowing fungi used by the Count to create the eerie effects and realize the haunting has a logical explanation. Just as they are about to confront the mastermind, they are shocked to find Countess Cornelia entering the hidden room.
