what is descriptive text?

Teks deskriptif adalah jenis teks yang digunakan untuk menggambarkan atau melukiskan sesuatu secara detail, sehingga pembaca dapat membayangkan dengan jelas objek yang sedang dijelaskan. Objek tersebut bisa berupa orang, tempat, benda, atau hewan.

Struktur Teks Descriptive

1. Identification (Identifikasi        : Pengenalan objek yang akan dideskripsikan.

2. Description  (Deskripsi)          : Deskripsi rinci tentang objek, meliputi:

   Part of speech: Bagian-bagian objek

   Qualities: Kualitas atau sifat objek

   Uses: Kegunaan objek

Ciri-ciri bahasa dalam teks prosedur

1. Kata keterangan (Adverbs): Digunakan untuk memberikan keterangan tentang kata kerja, kata sifat, atau kata keterangan lainnya. Contoh: very, really, extremely.

2. Frasa adjektif: Gabungan kata yang berfungsi sebagai kata sifat. Contoh: bright blue eyes.

3. Kata kerja (Verbs): Digunakan untuk menyatakan tindakan atau keadaan. Dalam teks deskriptif, kata kerja sering digunakan untuk menggambarkan tindakan atau keadaan yang berkaitan dengan objek yang dideskripsikan.

4. Kalimat sederhana: Kalimat yang terdiri dari satu klausa independen. Kalimat sederhana sering digunakan untuk menyajikan informasi secara langsung dan jelas.
