1. Indefinidos- refers to NONSPECIFIC people or items- highlight this in your notes.

   1. Translates to the article "a" or an"an"in English

Los sustantovos y los artículos both have the same characteristics- meaning they are either singular or plural, male or female.... so, you match the article to the noun ONLY IF THE CHARACTERISTICS match.
Ejemplo: profesor

Profesor is singular.... only one.
Profesor is also masculine, it ends in -or

So, we can only use the definite artile el or the indefinite article un depending of whether we are talking about a specific profesor or non-specific profesor.
