  • Empirical formula, are normally labeled as such, as it is hard to tell the difference between a molecular and empirical formula.

  • The term "structural formula" can actually be used to refer to any of the bottom formulas on the chart. You will often see what the chart calls the "display formula" called the "structural formula".

  • There are a few other ways of drawing formulas.
