​What is a Algorithm ?

Learners should build a robot and give it instructions to get from one point of the classroom to another. In pairs, one will be the coder and the other will follow the algorithm to complete the task or solve the problem. 5 steps only.

What is Decomposition ?

Use a Lego Tower as an example of Decomposition. The process of making a complex process simpler and easier to understand.
Start with building a strong base so that the tower is stable and will not collapse easily. Get 2 volunteers to build a tower, one creates the base while the other builds the rest of the tower.

What is Abstraction ?

Abstraction means focusing on the important parts of something and ignoring the details. When driving a car or using a iPhone , you do not need to know the intricate details of how the engine works or how the inside of your iPhone is made, you just need to be able to drive a car with the steering wheels and to be able to use your iPhone to take pictures and facetime your parents. Give other examples of Abstraction.
