Surah Al-Alaq

The meaning is a clot of blood (Segumpal darah)

Terdiri dari 19 ayat
Ayat 1-5 adalah wahyu pertama yang turun kepada Rasulullah di Goa Hiro.

Malaikat Jibril adalah malaikat yang bertugas menurunkan wahyu kepada utusan Allah Swt.

ٱقْرَأْ بِٱسْمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ١

Read, ˹O Prophet,˺ in the Name of your Lord Who created—

خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مِنْ عَلَقٍ ٢

created humans from a clinging clot.

ٱقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ ٱلْأَكْرَمُ ٣

Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous,

ٱلَّذِى عَلَّمَ بِٱلْقَلَمِ ٤

Who taught by the pen—

عَلَّمَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ ٥

taught humanity what they knew not.
