New Zealand and English
During the nineteenth century, settlers established the English language in New Zealand, and this lenguage is the main language of New Zealand. English is known as Kiwi slang and is influenced by the English of Great Britain, Australia and the United States.
In New Zealand English, vowels tend to be shorter than in British English, for example, the word "bed" may sound closer to "bid", they also pronounce the "r" at the end of words and before consonants.
