Since (-2) = -(2) ,

(-2)(-5) = -(2)(-5)

We could read this as the opposite of two times negative five. So, we would find out how much 2 groups of negative 5 would equal and then take its opposite.

(-2)(-5) = 10

(-2)(-5)=10 so  $10\div-2=-5$
