Do you know any other words that have the prefix "pre-"? ​

A prefix is a word part added to the beginning of a word.

It changes the meaning of the word.

Examples: prepay, preview, and pre-war

Pre + view = Preview ​

The suffix: -ist

​Nouns that end in -ist mean someone who works in a specific field.

​A tourist = tour + ist

RULE: For words ending in a vowel or y drop the vowel or -y and add -ist​
