This is given to you to use during your math test

Perimeter

The distance around the shape. The perimeter of a circle is called the circumference

Tip: don't worry so much about the formula for the perimeter of polygons, just remember to add up all the side lengths

Area

The space inside the shape. Think of the space you would paint if your shape was a wall in your home.

Rectangles and squares are parallelograms

Volume

The amount of liquid that would fit inside the container. Imagine your shape is a bottle you are filling up.
