Scale Factor: A scale factor is a common number you can multiply all of your side lengths on a figure by. If you multiply all of your side lengths on a figure by the same scale factor, then you will create a scale drawing.

Scale Drawing: A scale drawing is a drawing that is bigger or smaller than your original drawing, but it will always be proportional.​
