—Tooth enamel is the hardest bone in your body

—Your mouth makes around 25,000 gallons of saliva in a lifetime

—Teeth started growing in your gum before you were born.

—Your mouth has more bacteria than there are people in the world

—Incisors – these are your 4 front teeth on the top and bottom jaw. ...

—Canine teeth – these are sharp, pointy teeth. ...

—Premolars – next to your canine teeth are your premolars (also called bicuspid teeth).

—Humans use 4 different types of teeth to cut chew and grind their food.

— These teeth are incisors, canine, premolars and molars.

—Humans only have 2 sets of teeth to last them their entire lifetime.

—Once you have all your permanent teeth make sure you look after them and brush twice a day!

Cavities

—Cavities are a form of tooth decay. Tooth decay is a scary term

— There are no age limits to cavities

—Sugar (sort of) rots your teeth

—Prevention is your best defense against cavities

—You cannot always tell when you have a cavity

Dentist Advise

—Brush your teeth a day-in the morning and before sleep.

—Massage your gums to keep it strong and healthy.

—Rinse your mouth after each meal. This washes out the bacteria and prevents plaque and gum boils.

—Eat raw food like apples carrots and radish. Avoid soft, sweet food.

—Get your teeth checked regularly by your Dentist.

—All 20 of a baby's primary teeth are already in their jaw at birth.

—Baby teeth hide under the gums until it's time for them to erupt.

 The first tooth usually comes in when your baby is between six and 10 months and the last primary teeth are typically in before their third birthday
