O: The Great Kapok Tree is important to the animals living in the Amazon.
R: I think The Great Kapok Tree is important to the animals because they all came to the man in his sleep and asked him not to tear down the tree.

E: Some examples of this are shown when the snake asked the man not to cut down the tree because it was his family's home. Another example is when the monkeys asked the man not to cut down the tree because the Rainforest will wither up and die.
