​Definition of Alliterations

​An alliteration is the occurrence of the same letter or sound at the beginning of adjacent or closely connected words or the appearance of two or more words closely near each other mostly after each other with the same first letter or sound.

​Examples of alliterations:

Silly, safe salamanders save soft sisters.

​Now, all the words in the alliterated sentence above has the same first letter and sound which in this matter is "s" like a snake hisses "sss".

​Note: Alliterations can only be made from consonants sound and letters.
