Let's review Bar Graphs, Picture Graphs, & Frequency Tables

Let's review the different kinds of graphs we have learned about!

Remember we are taking an assessment on this standard tomorrow, so if you have questions, today is the day to ask!

Bar Graphs

• Needs to have a title to tell us what the graph is about

• Includes labels on the X -axis and y-axis

• The scale shows us how many

• Categories tells us the type of data we are collecting

• The top of each bar tells us how many!

Picture Graphs

• Uses pictures to represent data

• May attention to the key at the bottom to know how much each picture represent!

• If a picture is cut in half, that means HALF the amount of what the whole picture represents!

Frequency Tables

• Tells us how many time something happened

• Frequency = how often something happens

• Usually uses tallies or x's to tell us how many
