Use comparative adjectives in order to compare two things, animals, or people.

Comparative Adjectives
A comparative adjective is used to compare one person, action, thing or state to another.
It adds the suffix -er to the original adjective.
e.g. bright - > brighter

Example:
Tom Holland is slimmer than Tobey McGuire.
Huawei smartphones are less expensive than the Samsung ones.

Superlative adjectives
Use superlative adjectives in order to say that a thing, an animal, or a person is the most of a group.

Superlative Adjectives
A superlative adjective is used to compare one person, action, thing or state to all others in the same group.
It adds the suffix -est to the original adjective.
e.g. bright - > brightest

Andrew Garfield is the slimmest Spider-man.
iPhones are the least expensive smartphones.

The Equative
Use the equative in order to say that a thing, an animal, or a person is similar to another one.

Rachel is as intelligent as Sue.
Samsung smartphones are as expensive as iPhones.
