PAST - PRESENT AND FUTURE TENSES

PRESENT SIMPLE TENSE

• Ex: I go to school by bus everyday. (lặp đi lặp lại)

• Ex: my sister usually sleep late at night. (thói quen)

• Ex: The Earth moves around the Sun. (chân lí, sự thật)

• Ex: My mother is a doctor. (nghề nghiệp)

• Ex: I love walking in the rain. (sở thích)

Dấu hiệu nhận biết

• Always (luôn luôn), usually (thường xuyên), often (thường xuyên), frequently (thường xuyên), sometimes (thỉnh thoảng), seldom (hiếm khi), rarely (hiếm khi), hardly (hiếm khi), never (không bao giờ), generally (nhìn chung), regularly (thường xuyên).

  
  

• Every day, every week, every month, every year,... (Mỗi ngày, mỗi tuần, mỗi tháng, mỗi năm).

• Once/twice/three times/four times...a day/week/month/year,... (một lần/hai lần/ba lần/ bốn lần... một ngày/tuần/tháng/năm).

Dấu hiệu nhận biết

• Trong câu có các trạng từ chỉ thời gian: right now (ngay bây giờ); at the moment (lúc này); at present (hiện tại); at + giờ cụ thể (Ex: at 12 o'clock)

• Trong câu có các động từ như: Look! (nhìn kìa); Listen! (nghe này); Keep silent! (hãy giữ im lặng),...

• This is the first time I have ever eaten that kind of food. (kinh nghiệm, trải nghiệm)

Dấu hiệu nhận biết

• just (vừa mới): dùng sau have/has, trước Vp2; recently, lately, so far (gần đây): thường đứng ở cuối câu.

• already (rồi): dùng sau have/has, trước V3/ed.

• before (trước đây): đứng ở cuối câu.

• ever (đã từng); never (chưa từng, không bao giờ): dùng sau have/has, trước V3/ed.

• for + N - quãng thời gian: trong khoảng (for a year, for a long time,...).

• since + N - mốc/điểm thời gian: từ khi (since 1992, since June,...).

• yet (chưa): dùng trong câu phủ định và câu hỏi; until now = up to now = up to the present (cho đến bây giờ).
