Comparatives
We use comparative adjectives to give information about 2 sustantives (person, object, place)
Example:
The mouse is SMALLER than the cat.

SHORT ADJECTIVES
To make a comparative from a short adjective we add "er" at the end of the word + the word "THAN"
Example:
The mouse is smallER than the cat.

SHORT ADJECTIVES
If the adjective is a "CVC" (consonant + vowel + consonant) like in BIG - HOT - FAT we double the last consonant +er+than
Example:

If the adjective end in "Y" like:
HAPPY - LAZY - CRAZY - LUCKY
We change the "Y" for an "I" +er+than

For long adjectives we just add "more" BEFORE the word and "than" AFTER the word.
