• What are Regions?

An area that shares common natural and human characteristics.

• What is regional Geography?​

​A branch of geography that studies regions of all sizes across the planet Earth.

​Physical Geography,

​It focuses on the geography of regions as an Earth Science such as climate, plants and animals.

​Human Geography:

​Focuses on study patterns and processes that shape human interaction with their environments. It studies political, cultural, social and economic regions.

​Cultural Regions:

​Areas inhabited by people who have one or more cultural traits in common, such as language, religion and system of livelihood.
