GOOD is an adjective.
Use good to modify nouns or pronouns.
Ex. We saw a good movie last night.
Also, use good to describe the way someone or something is.
Ex. That tastes good.

WELL can be an adverb or an adjective.
As an adverb, well modifies action verbs. Use it to describe how an action is done.
Ex. Emily plays the part well.
As an adjective well means “in good health” or “satisfactory
