Electric and Magnetic Forces

• Electricity and magnetism may seem like two very different forces BUT they are actually both part of the same force.

• Both electric and magnetic forces can be attractive or repulsive.

• The force of an electric or magnetic charge is greatly affected by the distance between objects.

• There are two types of electric charge: positive and negative.

• Magnetism is created by moving charges.

• Opposite charges attract, while like charges repel each other.
