WHAT IS A PRIME NUMBER ?

PRIME NUMBER

A prime number has only two factors, 1 and the number itself.

2 is the only EVEN prime number.

15 is not a prime number even though15 is an odd number.

15 x 1=15

3 x 5 = 15

15 have four factors.

WATCH OUT!!

1 is NOT a prime number.

1 only has one factor.

The number 1 = (1 x 1 = 1 )
