Explore features of a fable​

Fables are short stories that teach a useful moral lesson. A moral is a good lesson for us to learn from

         Fables teach you what to do and what not to do by telling you an entertaining story.

         Characters are usually animals or people

         A good, wise character, who follows the moral;

         A lazy, or foolish character who does not follow the moral;

          Usually set outside, in the countryside and habitats, like forest, jungle, desert etc.

Summarise the main ideas of the story in two or three sentences.​

In your mixed ability groups discuss questions on learners book page 13 b-f.
