Capitalization Rules

Rule 1: Proper Nouns

• a NOUN is a person, place or thing

• SPECIFIC names need to be capitalized

• do NOT capitalize "the principal of the high school", but DO capitalize "Halifax County High School's Principal, Mr. Lewis"
