The first stage is: the egg>second tadpoles>third tadpoles with 2 legs>fourth>tadpoles with 4 legs> fifth froglet>and the last stage is adult frog.

A female frog lays hundreds of eggs, after which the male fertilises them.

Some of these eggs get destroyed on exposure to wind and rainfall. Therefore, out of hundreds of eggs, only a few get fertilised. A layer of jelly holds the eggs together and provides protection to the eggs. This whole mass of fertilised eggs in the jelly is called a spawn.

After few days a tadpole:

~Develops into a froglet

~Develops forelimbs

~Develops lungs for breathing

Final stage:

~Tail become smaller and finally disappears

~Frog enter the adult stage

After a few days, the tadpole hatch out of the egg. It feeds on the yolk of the egg from witch it hatches. After a few days

~External gills appear

~Tails Elongates

~Fins Develop

After few weeks

~External gills disappear

~Tadpole develop hind limbs
