- The most important facts and events of someone's life.

- Contains memories, trips, or special moments.

- It is about another person. (3rd Person POV).

Personal Narrative

- Focus on a particular event in a person's life.

- Written in 1st person. (Uses words like I, my, me)

- Uses dialogue (2 people speaking) and sensory details to express emotions that place the reader in the experience.

Memoir

- Autobiographical writing (1st Person POV)

- Captures highlights or meaningful moments in a person's past.

-Much more emotional and connects the writer to someone or something that had an impact on their life.
