Proper and Common Nouns
Proper Nouns refer to a specific thing. It is ALWAYS capitalized.
Common Nouns refer to a general thing.

Singular, Plural, and Possesive Nouns
Singular Nouns are pertaining to one. Examples are Charlie, Fatima, pen.
Plural Nouns are more than one. Examples are houses, hats, mice.
Possesive Nouns are nouns that shows ownership. Examples are Charlie's, Fatima's. Adding apostrophe and "s" can be done in every word except for those word/s ending in "Z" sound such as ranz, hans. In this case, just add an apostrophe. For instance, Ranz' house or Hans' car,

Concrete and Abstract Nouns
A Concrete Noun is a person, place, or thing occupying the physical world. Examples are desk, muscles, and students.
An Abstract Noun is an idea or non-physical thing. Examples are peace, strength, love, and vengeance.

SUMMARY
Nouns are people, places, and things. It can be common or proper, concrete or abstract, and plural, singular, and possessive.
