Pressure and Diffusion
More Pressure=Slower Diffusion
Pressure is a concept describing how the little particles colliding with each other can generate force. Diffusion is the random net movement of particles from areas where there isnt much space to areas where there is less space. A area under lots of pressure has particles clumped up diffusion is slower. This is why oxygenated blood, nutrients, etc are moved at the capillaries which are low pressure

Pressure and Bulk Flow
Lots of Particles bumping into each other=Bulk Flow
Pressure is a concept describing how the little particles colliding with each other can generate force. When you have a lot of particles all bumping onto each other they will flow to a area where there are less particles. Pressure gradients made by your muscleand bulk flow underlies most of how blood flows as well as how the immune cells in your blood move about.

Oxygen and Nutrient Flow to and from Tissues Example
5
Open Ended
Imagine two animals, one with a closed circulatory system and another with an open circulatory system. How does each system influence the potential for blood loss in the case of an external wound?
6
Open Ended
Imagine a scenario where a mammal with a closed circulatory system and a fish with an open circulatory system are exposed to fluctuating environmental temperatures. How do these different circulatory systems contribute to their thermal adaptability and maintenance of body temperature?
7
Open Ended
In a comparison between a mammal with a closed circulatory system and an arthropod with an open circulatory system, how does each system impact their ability to transport immune cells to infection sites when they fall ill?
